Co-Channel Interference Analysis of Point to Point mm-Wave Radio Links
نویسندگان
چکیده
Point to point mm-wave radio links are being increasingly deployed because of the expansion of commercial wireless services. Providers of wireless services continue to demand systems with higher data rate and higher carrier frequency. In order to fulfill the demand unlicensed mm-wave bands have been investigated for fixed point-to-point outdoor radio applications. An analytical method is developed in this paper to study co-channel inteference of mm-wave devices in a given area. An optimum number of mmwave devices in a certain area may be drawn from the analysis. MatLab programs are also produced to simulate the approach. The simulation results are plotted to give a clear view. It is expected that the interference analysis would help to implement the mm-wave point to point communication systems in outdoor environment.

متن کاملInterference-Aware and Cluster Based Multicast Routing in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks
Multicast routing is one of the most important services in Multi Radio Multi Channel (MRMC) Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). Multicast routing performance in WMNs could be improved by choosing the best routes and the routes that have minimum interference to reach multicast receivers. In this paper we want to address the multicast routing problem for a given channel assignment in WMNs. The channels...
متن کاملOn the impact of control channel reliability on coordinated multi-point transmission
In the heterogeneous networks (HetNets), co-channel interference is a serious problem. Coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission has emerged as a powerful technique to mitigate co-channel interference. However, all CoMP techniques rely on information exchange through reliable control channels, which are unlikely to be available in HetNets. In this paper, we study the effect of unreliable cont...
متن کاملMillimeter-wave MIMO: Wireless Links at Optical Speeds
We propose a new architecture for bridging the existing gap in speeds between wireless and optical links. The Millimeter Wave MIMO system employs “millimeter (mm) wave” spectrum in the E-band (70-95 GHz), which has been made available by the Federal Communications Commission on a semi-unlicensed basis for outdoor point-to-point communication. The small wavelengths enable highly directive beams ...
متن کاملEffect of Nonlinear Phase Variation in Optical Millimetre Wave Radio over Fibre Systems
In this paper, we propose an optical millimetre wave radio-over-fibre (mm-wave RoF) system that uses a dual drive Mach Zehnder modulator (DD-MZM), which is biased at the maximum transmission biasing point, to generate an optical double sideband-suppressed carrier. The input to the DD-MZM are binary phase shift keying (BPSK), quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), 8-phase shift keying (8-PSK) and...
